BLiNQ Networks is searching for an experienced marketing professional to join our team as the Director of Marketing. This pivotal role will be working closely with the VP of Sales and Business Development, the Sales Team and our growing teams to help support their respective missions.

Director of Marketing responsibilities:

  • Manage and deliver the marketing calendar of various activities
  • Report on marketing activities weekly, monthly and quarterly
  • Work closely with the Sales team to ensure alignment on sales initiatives
  • Manage the production of all digital marketing assets, including blog articles, case studies, social media and video content
  • Direct team of creative freelancers including graphic designers, writers, animators and videographers
  • Prepare email marketing distribution
  • Prepare timely press releases
  • Manage all content updates on the website and ensure website health and functionality
  • Manage the booking, coordination, and logistics of upcoming trade shows
  • Prepare all event materials and collateral for production and shipping
  • Ensure that attending staff members are registered and have all the relevant details for the show
  • Maintain a financial log of costs per event
  • Analyze event costs vs opportunity / leads generated to determine event success
  • Work with Channel and Industry Partners on co-marketing initiatives
  • Manage industry memberships
  • Set up digital marketing advertisements
  • Prepare webinars
  • Potential for up to 10% travel as required for tradeshows

Requirements:

  • You have a minimum of 8 years relevant working experience.
  • You are a critical thinker with strong problem solving and research proficiencies.
  • You are resourceful.
  • You have solid organizational skills and are detail oriented.
  • You are a self-starter with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • You have a creative mind with superb written and verbal communication skills.
  • You are comfortable leading and can round up all the players.

Preferred:

  • Familiar with cloud-based tools like the Microsoft Office 365 suite
  • Familiar with email marketing platforms like Mailchimp or similar
  • Good working knowledge of social media platforms like LinkedIn
  • Some knowledge of WordPress
  • Project Management experience
  • Experience in the wireless telecom industry

Nice to have:

  • Google Ads and LinkedIn ads experience
