Location: Markham, ON
As a key member of the BLiNQ Team, you will work closely with Design and Integration Engineers towards delivering cost-effective and leading-edge wireless product solutions. You will be part of the Radio System Team responsible for the optimization and verification of the radio platform. You will interface with hardware and software engineers as well as integration engineers and other product verification engineers, in order to produce cost effective and highly functional products.
This position requires strong problem solving skills, self-motivation and strong inter-disciplinary
teamwork skills. You must demonstrate the ability to work efficiently on multiple product development platforms and with tight project schedules. Primary Responsibilities:
• Wireless Hardware System Integration
• Hardware Production Test Platform Validation
• Analyze bugs and errors found during tests
• Document results of tests for the software development team
• Work together with HW Team and Production Test developer to enhance and improve System functionality
• Support pre-testing and final hardware certification process
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent discipline
• Must have hardware components understanding
• Networking experience (Ethernet, TCP/IP)
• Organized with a strong attention to details
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong Team spirit
• Strong verbal and written communication skills (English)
• Must be able to understand and follow instructions and to communicate issues to their test leads
Additional Assets
• 3 or more years of industry experience in hardware testing
• Hardware device testing experience
• Master’s in electrical engineering will be a plus
• Understanding of modems at the chipset level
• Understanding of Linux
