BLiNQ Networks is to Bring Wireless Broadband Service to the Town of Royalston, MA
BLiNQ Networks won the bid to undertake the project of bringing high-speed internet into Royalston.
Toronto, ON – April 2, 2020 – BLiNQ Networks, a leading North American manufacturer of CBRS fixed and mobile wireless equipment, is pleased to announce that it has been chosen to partner with The Royalston Broadband Committee and Westfield Gas & Electric to construct a wireless broadband network in Royalston, MA.
The Town of Royalston will be using BLiNQ Network’s FW-300i and the FWC-110HG-35 CPE. The BLiNQ Networks FW-300i is a fully integrated, 3 component carrier solution (3 x 20 MHz) powered by an integrated multibeam antenna system that enables software configurable coverage and capacity. The FWC-110HG-35 CPE is part of BLiNQ’s outdoor CPE series that delivers high data rates, enabling service provider customers to enjoy reliable, uninterrupted streaming and Internet browsing.
Broadband Committee Vice Chair John Hardie said the initial phase of the project calls for 350 homes to be connected during the first year.
“The Royalston Broadband Committee will work together with Westfield Gas & Electric, and with the BLiNQ Network Team,” said Hardie, “to formalize all of the final build-out documentation, obtain all of the necessary regulatory approvals, and issue bid requests for construction contractors.”
