Jaideep, can you please describe your role at BLiNQ as the Director of Product Delivery?

Part of my role is to ensure that all the required i’s are dotted and t’s are crossed in order to support BLiNQ’s customers and keep them coming back to us. The reality is that besides providing the best products, there are many other things required to support customers. I have the primary responsibility for setting up and managing many of those other things from sales ordering and operations processes, pricing, RMA/warranty tracking & processes, product documentation, accessories availability and customer project management. Product Delivery in reality is a huge team effort, and requires collaboration with most of the departments across the BLiNQ and CCI teams.

an you share some of the feedback that you’ve received from our customers, in terms of their early touch points and experience of our products?

We have been working with one particular customer, a large school district in Phoenix Arizona, who has been deploying our FW-600 B48 eNodeBs. The whole process there of working with our internal deployment team alongside their management and IT staff has been a deep learning experience with regards to what it would take to deploy these private networks from the ground up. A significant portion of it was about the infrastructure work before our radios could even be deployed. This customer especially appreciated our availability, responsiveness and willingness to work with them, no matter the challenge (compared to the competition).

As Project Manager for PointLiNQ’s development, what excites you most about this solution?

PointLiNQ is one of the ways our customers can keep their eye on the RF network environment over time and apply intelligent decision making in an automated way using machine learning and AI. It is an important cog towards this path for self learning and organized wireless networks. Even as wireless technology moves away from LTE 4G over the next few years, we can apply our learnings from developing and deploying this tool to our 5G efforts in future as well.

In your opinion, what does PointLiNQ bring to the market that no other solution out there does better?

When we first released PointLiNQ a year and half ago, at that time we could say that ours was the only link alignment tool that could perform single-step CBSD registration. This is where a user connecting a Category A or B CBSD device (CPE), is able to talk to the CBRS SAS DB and achieve connectivity (registration and authorization) in one step. Today we can no longer claim to have the only tool that does this. However, when you consider some key features of real-time Iperf throughput testing (Speedtest) with network eNodeB list availability and wireless Performance Reports storage using the cloud-based user-accessible PointLiNQ portal, it makes us quite unique in this product space and enhances the value proposition tremendously.
